A fireworks accident during the Kaliyattam festival at Anjootambalam Veerarkavu Temple in Kasaragod, Kerala, injured over 150 people, with eight in critical condition. The incident occurred around 12:30 am, reportedly due to a fire at a nearby fireworks storage facility. Injured individuals were transported to hospitals in Kasaragod, Kannur, and Mangaluru.
