A large fire broke out at Mandai Metro Station in Pune at midnight on Sunday while welding work was being conducted on the ground floor. Security officials promptly alerted the fire brigade. Fortunately, there were no reports of loss of life or property due to the incident. Union Minister Muralidhar tweeted that the situation has improved and that traffic will continue as usual.
