RBI Directs Banks To Launch Special Campaigns To Activate Frozen Accounts

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has instructed banks to reduce the number of inoperative or frozen accounts by organizing special campaigns to facilitate their activation. Additionally, banks are encouraged to assist customers in updating their Aadhaar details at branches offering Aadhaar services. This initiative aims to help account holders reactivate their accounts smoothly.
