Calcutta HC Denies Bail To Partha Chatterjee In SSC Scam Case

Former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee and four others were denied bail in the state School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment scam case after the Calcutta High Court delivered a split verdict. While four suspects were granted bail, Chatterjee and the remaining accused were not. The court will now decide on a third bench to hear the case.
