Three small idols, approximately four to six inches in size, were discovered during the digging of a well near the Bhasma Shankar temple in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, which had reopened on December 13 after 46 years. The idols, found at a depth of 15 to 20 feet, appeared to represent Goddesses Parvati and Lakshmi, but were discovered in a damaged condition by workers.
