Nirmala Sitharaman Urges Women To Benefit From Central Schemes

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman urged women to benefit from central government schemes for empowerment at a credit outreach program in Madhubani. Loans worth Rs 1,121 crore were provided to 50,294 beneficiaries. Sitharaman emphasized Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “Lakhpati Didi” in every village, highlighting financial assistance through Self Help Groups.
