Chinese Bombers Conduct Drills Near Taiwan 

Chinese state media reported that H-6K bombers recently conducted “confrontation drills” near Taiwan, ahead of a US-China summit in South Korea. Taiwan, which China claims as its territory, regularly scrambles its aircraft and ships in response. However, Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has not noted any unusual military activity recently.
