SC To Hear Suo Motu Petition On RG Kar Horror Today

The Supreme Court will hear a suo motu case on Wednesday regarding the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. This follows a Kolkata court’s January 20 ruling sentencing Sanjay Roy to life imprisonment for the crime committed on August 9 last year.
