Senior IAS Officer Sanjay Murthy Appointed As CAG Chief

Senior IAS officer K. Sanjay Murthy has been appointed as the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India. President Droupadi Murmu issued orders confirming his appointment. A 1989 batch IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, Sanjay Murthy hails from Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh. He is set to assume office as the CAG chief on November 21, 2024.
