Retail Tomato Prices Drop 22.4% Amid Improved Supply Across India

Retail tomato prices dropped 22.4% month-on-month, with the all-India average price falling to Rs 52.35 per kg on November 14, down from Rs 67.50 on October 14, the Consumer Affairs Ministry reported. At Delhi’s Azadpur mandi, wholesale prices plunged nearly 50%, from Rs 5,883 per quintal to Rs 2,969, driven by improved supply across the country.
