PIA Sale To Foreign Govt Likely After Rejection Of ₹10 Billion Bid

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) may be sold to a foreign government after the Privatisation Commission rejected a Rs 10 billion bid from Blue World Consortium. As part of restructuring under an IMF program, Pakistan plans to offload a 51-100% stake in PIA. Qatar or Abu Dhabi are potential buyers, with expressions of interest to be invited by November 30.
