Assam Seeks Swift Justice In Zubeen Garg Death Probe

Assam will seek a fast-track court trial in singer Zubeen Garg’s death case, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced. A special prosecutor will be appointed, and an SIT chargesheet is expected by November. An Assam police team will visit Singapore on October 21 for investigations. A memorial in Garg’s honour is also being planned.
