Closing Bell: Sensex Jumps 186 Pts, Nifty Nears 25,700

Indian equity markets ended on a strong note with benchmark indices posting solid gains. The Sensex climbed 186.64 points to close at 83,570.35, while the Nifty advanced 28.75 points to settle at 25,694.35. The rupee traded at 90.83 against the dollar. IT stocks led the rally, with Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HCL Tech and TCS among top gainers.
