Kerala Elections Shakeup: G Sudhakaran Breaks From CPM

Veteran leader G Sudhakaran has quit CPI(M) and will contest the Kerala Assembly elections as an independent from Ambalappuzha, a party stronghold. He clarified he hasn’t sought UDF support, won’t hold wall paintings or conventions, and will focus on political and corruption issues. Sudhakaran retains allegiance to CPI(M) ideology despite leaving party membership.
