The Drugs Control Administration (DCA) suspended 165 licenses and cancelled 7 after raiding 809 medical shops across Telangana for illegal sale of abortion kits. Violations included selling Schedule H drugs without prescriptions or licensed pharmacists. Abortion kits must be used under a gynaecologist’s supervision.
