CJI Sanjiv Khanna Recuses Himself From Election Appointment Case

Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna recused himself on Tuesday from hearing pleas challenging the law that removed the Chief Justice from the panel responsible for appointing the Chief Election Commissioner and other election commissioners. While on the bench with Justice Sanjay Kumar, Chief Justice Khanna directed the matter to be listed before a different bench.
