Tragedy Strikes At Tamil Nadu Temple As Elephant Kills Mahout And Relative

A tragic incident unfolded at the Subramanya Swamy Temple in Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu, when an elephant attacked its mahout, Udayakumar, and his relative, Sisupalan, during feeding time. Both men succumbed to severe injuries at the hospital. The 28-year-old elephant, a temple resident since 2006, unexpectedly became agitated. Authorities have since banned devotees from feeding the animal.
