Stock Market Close: Sensex 593 Pts Down, Nifty Ends Below 25,900

Indian markets ended lower on Thursday. The Sensex dropped 592.67 points to close at 84,404.46, while the Nifty fell 176.05 points to 25,877.75. The decline followed the US Fed’s rate cut signal being the last for 2025. Nifty MidCap 100 gained 0.1%, whereas the Nifty SmallCap 100 slipped 0.1% as caution prevailed.
