EPFO Sees 9.07% Rise In New Member Additions To 18.53 Lakh In August

The EPFO reported a 9.07% increase in net new member additions, reaching 18.53 lakh in August 2024. This growth is attributed to rising employment opportunities and successful outreach efforts. Notably, 59.26% of new members are aged 18-25, with a significant rise in female memberships. Maharashtra led the states in new additions, contributing 20.59% of the total.
