Two Women Booked For Burning Puppies Alive In Meerut

In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, two women, Shoba and Aarti, have been booked for burning five stray puppies alive in Kankerkheda on November 5. The puppies, born to a street dog, were doused with petrol and set on fire. A case has been filed under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and further legal action is pending. Local traders have called for strict punishment.
