During the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, EAM S Jaishankar criticized Pakistan, asserting that cross-border activities marked by extremism and separatism hinder bilateral trade and relations. He further stated that if borders are characterized by terrorism, they will not foster trade, energy flows, connectivity, or people-to-people exchanges, as outlined in the Charter.
