SC Directs Centre To Address Foreign Nationals Jumping Bail

Supreme Court has directed the Centre to establish a procedure for handling cases where foreign nationals, accused of crimes in India, flee abroad after jumping bail. The order came during a Special Leave Petition filed by Jharkhand against the bail granted to a Nigerian citizen, who is alleged to have violated bail conditions and left India.
