US President-elect Donald Trump spent Christmas day talking about his political views on his Truth Social website. He doubled down on his threats to demand US control of Panama Canal to making Canada the 51st state of US. He reiterated his “governor” jibe at Canadian PM Justin Trudeau. He claimed he would cut taxes by “more than 60%” if Canada is merged with US and “their businesses would double in size.”
