55-Year Old Arrested For Stealing ₹60 In 1997

A 55-year-old man from Sivakasi was arrested in a 27 years old theft case. Madurai police said the robbery, which occurred in 1997, involved the theft of ₹60, a sum that remained unaccounted for until recently. A special team was set up to track down absconding suspects. One of the cases was the robbery, where the accused, Panneer Selvam, stole ₹60 from a victim and went absconding.
