Karur Stampede: SC To Hear CBI Plea Soon

The Supreme Court will hear on October 10 a plea challenging the Madras High Court’s rejection of a CBI probe into the September 27 Karur stampede, which killed 41 during Vijay’s rally. BJP leader Uma Anandan filed the appeal seeking an independent probe to ensure transparency and justice for the victims and their families affected by the tragedy.
