ED Raids Imphal Over Fake Ministers’ Money Laundering

The ED conducted searches on five premises in Imphal linked to Yambem Biren and Narengbam Samarjit, who claimed to be “CM” and “External Affairs Minister” of the self-styled Manipur State Council. Both are key figures in the Salai Group and are investigated for allegedly collecting over ₹50 crore through a fraudulent scheme.
