Prayagraj–Kanpur Trains Get Kavach, Speed Hits 160 Kmph

Indian Railways launched the Kavach safety system on the 190 km Prayagraj–Kanpur route. This indigenous technology prevents accidents by automatically braking and supports speeds up to 160 kmph. Currently used by eight train pairs, including the Chauri Chaura Express, it will soon expand to Vande Bharat services and major corridors.
