At several UPSC Prelims 2025 centres in Chennai, exam instructions were displayed only in Hindi, leaving many candidates confused. With Tamil missing and amid ongoing language policy tensions, the move sparked controversy. Around 24,000 aspirants appeared across 69 centres in the city for the two-phase exam that tests general and analytical skills.
