SC Upholds Land Acquisition For Yamuna Expressway Development

In a major victory for the Uttar Pradesh government, the Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the validity of land acquisition initiated by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). The acquisition was aimed at the integrated development of the Yamuna Expressway and surrounding areas in Gautam Budh Nagar, supporting the state’s growth and infrastructure plans.
