Diwali Crisis: Hyderabad Reports Pollution Levels 15-20 Times Higher Than Last Year

In an alarming situation, Hyderabad has recorded unprecedented levels of air pollution. Compared to last year’s Diwali, pollution levels this year are reported to be 15 to 20 times higher. Dangerous levels of dust and particulate matter have been detected in the air, with an air quality index recorded at 171. Increases in nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide levels have been noted in the air.
