Diwali 2024: Chhattisgarh Govt Announces 4% Hike In Dearness Allowance For State Employees

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a 4% increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees, raising it to 50% of their basic salary. This change will benefit approximately 3.9 lakh employees and will take effect from November 1. The hike aligns the state’s DA with that of the central government, ahead of the Diwali festival.
