Disengagement Along India-China Border In Ladakh To Wrap Up By Oct 29

After a significant agreement between India and China, troop disengagement has commenced at 2 friction points in eastern Ladakh—Demchok and Depsang Plains—expected to conclude by October 28-29. While this agreement pertains only to these areas, discussions continue for others. After disengagement, both sides will initiate patrolling and dismantle temporary structures.
