CII Urges Budget Focus On Consumption, Wages, Fuel Duties

Ahead of the Union Budget 2025-26, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has urged the Finance Ministry to focus on boosting consumption, raising the daily minimum wage, and increasing PM-KISAN payouts. CII also called for reducing excise duties on fuel, arguing it would reduce inflation and increase disposable incomes amid lower global crude prices.
