Delhi’s Air Quality Nears “Severe” Levels, Most Polluted City In India

Delhi’s air quality is nearing the ‘severe’ category, with an AQI of 382, the worst in India for the day. Fifteen monitoring stations reported AQI levels above 400. The city also recorded its lowest nighttime temperature at 16.5°C, 1.2°C above normal, amidst thick smog. Pollution levels spiked post-Diwali, while other regions like Bahadurpura and Noida reported ‘very poor’ AQI levels.
