Delhi Considers Artificial Rain To Combat Winter Air Pollution

Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced on Tuesday that the city is exploring the use of artificial rain to combat worsening air pollution. As air quality deteriorates, respiratory illnesses have surged in the region. Each winter, northern India faces severe pollution, with cold air trapping dust, vehicle emissions, and smoke from farm fires, enveloping Delhi in a toxic haze.
