A volcano in eastern Indonesia, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, resulting in at least six fatalities as it released fireballs and ash over nearby villages. The eruption, which began just before midnight, prompted the evacuation of five villages and raised the volcano’s alert status to the highest level. Thousands of residents were affected, with footage showing areas engulfed in ash and flames.
