Saudi Arabia Executes Over 100 Foreigners In 2024, Marking Sharp Rise

Saudi Arabia has executed over 100 foreigners in 2024, marking a sharp increase compared to previous years. The latest execution, reported on Saturday in Najran, was of a Yemeni national convicted of drug smuggling. This brings the total to 101 foreign executions, nearly three times higher than the 34 executions in both 2023 and 2022, according to AFP.
