Recharge Plans May Get 10% More Expensive In India

Mobile recharge plans from Jio, Airtel, and Vi may see a 10% price hike soon. This would be the first direct tariff increase since 2024. Companies are already nudging users towards costlier plans by discontinuing cheaper options. The hike is expected between December 2025 and June 2026 to boost revenue for 5G investments.
