Two Arrested For Smuggling 40 Rare Animals In Bengaluru Airport

Customs officials at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru seized 40 endangered animals smuggled from Kuala Lumpur on November 12. The animals, including Aldabra giant tortoises, iguanas, and baby alligators, were hidden in passengers’ trolley bags. Two individuals were arrested and charged under the Wildlife Protection Act.
