By-Elections Underway For 15 Assembly Seats In 4 States

In addition to the ongoing assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, polling is also taking place for several by-elections in four other states. By-elections are being held for 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, 4 in Punjab, and 1 each in Kerala and Uttarakhand. A total of 90 candidates are contesting these 15 assembly seats, according to sources.
