SC Orders States To Halt Physical Classes Amid Pollution

Supreme Court on Monday directed all states to immediately halt physical classes for students up to Class 12, amid concerns over air pollution. A bench led by Justices Abhay S Oka and Augustine George Masih was hearing a petition on controlling air pollution in Delhi and neighboring areas. The court also reprimanded Delhi’s government and CAQM for delays in enforcing GRAP measures.
