Mamata Begins Sit-In Protest: Row Over SIR

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee began a sit-in protest in Kolkata against the SIR of electoral rolls, alleging a conspiracy by the BJP and the Election Commission of India to disenfranchise Bengal voters. She said several genuine voters were wrongly declared dead and promised to expose the issue publicly ahead of the state Assembly elections.
