Central Railway Runs 705 Festival Specials, Serves 10.6 Lakh

Central Railway has operated 705 Diwali and Chhath special trains, ferrying over 10.6 lakh passengers, said GM Vijay Kumar. He added that 1,998 specials will run by November 30 out of 12,011 nationwide, mostly from Pune and Mumbai. These services aim to ease festive travel for 30 lakh passengers heading to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and beyond.
