The official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry was targeted by cyber attacks during the 16th BRICS summit. Maria Zakharova, the representative of Russia, confirmed that serious cyber attacks occurred during the conference. Reports indicated that ‘DDoS’ attacks disrupted services on the official website and portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
