A police officer sustained injuries after being shot by a suspect in Kolkata’s Narkeldanga area. A clash broke out between two groups following a dispute over bike parking during the immersion procession of Kali Puja. It had nothing to do with the procession. But, when police intervened, a miscreant, Guggi, fired at a cop, and he suffered injuries on his shoulder.
