Indian stock markets bled heavily on Thursday, due to a fresh flare up in Iran-Israel tensions. Sensex crashed 1,769 points, or 2%, to end at 82,497 levels. Nifty, on the other hand, broke the 25,300-mark to close at 25,250, down 547 points or 2.12%. This resulted in investors losing ₹9.6 trillion. In broader markets, MidCap dropped 2.2% and SmallCap skid 1.9%.
