Chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ In Mosque Does Not Offend Religious Sentiments: Court

The Karnataka High Court dismissed a criminal case against two individuals accused of chanting “Jai Shri Ram” slogans inside a mosque. Justice M Nagaprasanna stated that it was unclear how such slogans could offend any religious sentiments. The accused faced charges under IPC Section 295A, while the complainant acknowledged that Hindus and Muslims coexist harmoniously in the area.
