N. Rangasamy is set to retain Thattanchavady in Puducherry as counting concluded. After four rounds, he led E Vinayakam by 4,441 votes, polling 10,024 votes against 5,583. Congress’ Ve Vaithilingam secured 2,990 votes. Rangasamy also contested from Mangalam, while Thattanchavady remained a key political battleground drawing major attention.
