Centre Launches Probe Into Tirumala Laddu Adulteration Row

The central government has taken the Tirumala Laddu controversy seriously, initiating a full investigation into the use of adulterated ghee in the laddus. To this end, AP govt is reviewing the preliminary report from the TTD Executive Officer. Given the sensitivity of the issue, which affects the sentiments of millions of devotees, the CBI plans to write to the Center to recommend a probe.
