Center Takes Action To Curb Rising Onion Prices, Plans To Sell At ₹35/kg

The Central Government has implemented strict measures to control the rising onion prices across the country. As part of these efforts, the NDA government has decided to sell 4.7 lakh tons of onions at wholesale prices in major cities. Additionally, Consumer Affairs Secretary Nidhi Khare announced that the Center plans to sell onions at ₹35 per kg through a subsidy nationwide.
